Delia Owens is an acclaimed American author and wildlife scientist, best known for her debut novel, "Where the Crawdads Sing," which became a global bestseller. Before turning to fiction, she co-authored three internationally bestselling nonfiction books about her experiences studying wildlife in Africa. Owens holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Georgia and a Ph.D. in Animal Behavior from the University of California, Davis.
