Michael Dante DiMartino is an American animation director, writer, and producer, best known for co-creating the critically acclaimed animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and its sequel "The Legend of Korra" alongside Bryan Konietzko. DiMartino started his career at Film Roman, contributing to "King of the Hill" and "Family Guy" before creating his own projects. He is also an accomplished author, having written the "Rebel Genius" book series.
